Kalis Bros Fish Market & Cafe Leederville

One of the most horrible experiences i have ever had at a restaurant. Firstly we were seated under the air con where we found it was dripping old water onto the table an into our food. We proceeded to tell the staff what was happening and what the staff said was "okay". Came back a few moments later to then say "we've turned off the air con". Umm no i wanted to be moved to a clean table. We ordered a chicken Cesar salad which was inedible and had to pay a ridiculous amount for it. Needless to say i will not be coming back to this establishment anytime soon.

Food7/10 Location 9/10 Service 6/10 I was told by a staff member this resturant doesn't use Australian fish, it is imported. When u eat there u can ask and they MUST tell u if the dish u ordered is with local or imported fish, plus is it fresh or frozen? You would think in a fish market it would be fresh, but never assume. $47 is too much to pay for a lunch dish of imported fish. Kalis you can do better. Plus a side garden salad was $27 and all we got was a bit of lettuce and tomatoe. overall I would rate this resturant 4/10. Overpriced for what it is offering. You CAN DO way better Kallis. Lets see it.

Good Food, Good Service, Nice Location...best place for lunch/diner.

The fish is top quality and presented beautifully. Not being too far from the City, it is also a good option for city professionals wanting to take clients to lunch. The atmosphere on Oxford Street adds to the laid back ambience and for a short while, time stands still.
