sorry but this is the truth. I admit Katoomba police especially constable Matt was very supportive when a family member died tragically. But when a friend of mine was folloed and bullied by a crazy road rager . Which ended up at KPS .
the cop that was newbie wrote report wrong my friend became the assulter instead of victim. it cost my friend 5gran in court fees shouldnt of went to court . charges were dropped. this cop needs to go back for re training unprofessional
I recently went hiking in a remote area. Little known fact, the NSW Police Force loans out Emergency Personal Locator Beacons (EPIRB) for walkers in the mountains (on behalf of the NSW Parks). The Katoomba Police Station is one such station that an EPIRB can be loaned.
The staff were really helpful. The officers were efficient and polite.
The station is well lit. It is quite dates however. I felt like I was in a building untouched since the 70s.
