KBOX Karaoke

This place is great for when you want to sing or scream a few of your favourite songs with your friends while being tipsy. Their rates are excellent compared to their local competitors. However, I find that as the night goes on, their toilet will get more gross and gross as it will be filled with people's vomits. I strongly suggest that you go early in the night to avoid that mental scene.

Kbox would have to be one of the top karaoke places in Melbourne city. Always has the latest songs and plenty of rooms as there is like 3-4 levels. Doesn't matter if you are going in a massive group of 20 people or just 3 people, Kbox box has different size rooms. Standard lowest package is $38 per person which includes 3hrs of singing time and 2 standard drinks, i think is very reasonable. I use to have my birthday at Kbox every year until i started a family but every now and then i would go because a friend celebrated their birthday here and it just reminded me of the good times i've had a Kbox.

My Japanese friend took me to this place, not a bad place, but I was a little bit disappointed with the songs they got, a little bit old-fashioned. But still, I had lots of fun in this place.

This use to be one of my favourite karaoke venues, it's still good but there are so many new karaoke places that make this place look/feel really old. I've always without fail had a good time here, the security is nice and friendly, they even help wave a cab down for you if you need one. Pricing is fair, neither cheap nor expensive. Only problem I could think of is that when going outside to smoke, there are residential apartments nearby and you can't be too loud whilst outside. There are plenty of rooms which span over 3 floors.
