Kmart
I visit Kmart very often. I find it very affordable when I look for clothing or toys for my granddaughters. Home decor has been improving in the past year and kitchen accesories. I'm dissapointed with women's clothing. About two years ago I had the chance to buy very good styled jeans but can't find same any longer. They are not consistent with the quality of clothing/shoes (women's and men's) they bring in along the year. I wish they improve these areas much more sooner than later.
I'm in that phase of my life where kids parties seem to be dotting on my calendar more and more. We, being the unorganized parents that we are often found ourselves roaming Kmart looking to find suitable presents. Kmart have lots of great toys, from classics like hungry hippo board games to the newer brands like 'shopkins'. They also have some nice craft sets and themed items such as Frozen dolls.
We also found some great swimming accessories for kids at good prices.
Haven't been to Kmart in a while but I can tell you I had a lot of fun coming here on the weekend. It's amazing what they have in stock and the prices are pretty good. Kmart embrace the whole dollar pricing method so things are all rounded tot he nearest dollar.
I was looking for a stool to sit on for when I bathe my child and saw a plastic thing in the baby section for $5. I then went to look in the gardening section and asked a lovely assistant if there were any stools. He promptly directed me to a section full of folding stools. They were all tied up so I couldn't try it but he offered to help me open one so I could see if it was suitable. It was! And I was impressed with the quality and sturdiness of it. Oh and did I mention it was only $5?
I was calling to ask for assistance with something I wanted to hold. The person on the phone was so rude. A lot of people I speak to have said the same thing, I think this should be fixed. Unhappy staff should not take it out on their customers. I will not be buying from here again.
