What a disgrace Kogan Australia has become.
Sold me a very dangerous electronic scooter (Bullet XCT 85) which arrived with misaligned handle bars, resulting in steering issues.
Speed throttle jams which nearly caused my daughter to crash because she couldn't brake within a safe distance.
Failed to respond to 4 consecutive emails in response to this.
Scooter was returned and they still to this day have failed to process a refund despite offering a date this will be auctioned.
Clueless staff and even worse case managers.
Matter has formally been escalated to the ACCC and in their view will consider firm action against Kogan based on the information provided.
The lowest and most deliberately misleading company I have ever dealt with.
They have no contact number to call and you can only communicate(use this term very very loosely) by email.
I ordered a Kogan brand 55in TV from Kogan Australia on the 2 May 2018. The TV finally arrived on 20 June 2018. Once connected up the USB ports were not working correctly and the TV was randomly turning on at all hours. Re-setting the TV to factory condition did not sort out all of the issues and I contacted Kogan via email/chat to sort out the issue, by advised warrenty return/repair on 22 June 2018. I was also advised on 25 May 2018 that the TV was incorrectly advertised as being a 120Hz set, yet it truely was only 60Hz. Very unhappy at this advice. The faulty TV was finally picked up on 30 Jun 2018, yet apparently not delivered to Kogan until 12th Jun 2018. As of today, no one is willing to say whether the TV is repairable and going to be returned, a replacement sent, or otherwise. Dubious business pactices. Purchased a laptop and on delivery it was faulty. Return machine immediately as requested. After6 weeks Kogan are still refusing to refund or repair.They say they are checking with the manufacturer. They have total disregard for Consumer rights. I am lodging a claim with the state office of consumer affairs and am prepared to go to the Small Claims Court.
Avoid purchasing anything from them.I believe they finance their operation from customer funds not returned from faulty goods shipped. Any details required please email me.
I would like to tell you of my disgust and disappointment that I have with Kogan. We brought two of there Kogan 8 plus mobiles which were good looking but we found that the battery didn't last very long and the volume and speaker was not suitable for us oldies. I had to go in hospital and we had no mobiles. At that time they had, had them for two weeks which they stated that's how long they needed to see if we could have a refund. When I was in hospital I had to borrow a phone so I could ring my wife and stay in touch with Kogan. They keep saying that they were sorry but still nothing happened, 19 emails later they get back to me and say that our refund warranty had run out. This was a month later to be told they are going to send them back. They made our lives miserable and weren't sympathetic or helpful in anyway.
