Kristian brings over 16 years of experince to Beyond Osteopathy after originally completing his training at RMIT and finishing in 1997. Kristian started Chapel Street Osteopathy in Prahran in 1998 before handing over the reigns to Michelle Funder and Shane Bennett in 2010. Having worked locally as an Osteopath in Prahran his whole work life he certainly feels like a local!

Throughout his career Kristian has experience treating a wide variety of musculo-skeletal conditions, such as back, neck and shoulder pain. He has also worked as an Osteopath with numerous dance and stage productions and performers such as Oh, What a Night!, Cabaret, Singing in the Rain and Hot Shoe Shuffle to name a few. This gives Kristian a unique perspective on dance and movement injuries.

Kristian is the Victorian Director of the Australian Osteopathic Association, the peak body in Osteopathic representation in Australia. He spent five years on the Guild Insurance Risk Assessment Panel exploring strategies to keep Osteopathic care safe and effective.

Kristian has a keen interest in Osteopathic education and professional development, previously lecturing in Osteopathic principals at RMIT and he has been a clinical supervisor at both Victoria University and RMIT Student Osteopathic Medicine clinics, and he has delivered numerous lectures on anatomy and biomechanics at different institutions. ...read more
