We started a Reno on our house 3 years ago. We thought we did our home work by checking a few homes and talking to some of our builders previous clients. Unfortunately for us thou, Ken’s qualified/skilled builders left him just before our job started. We were left with him, a new 16 year apprentice, his unqualified son and a handyman. The job that should have only took 4months took almost 2 years due to many defects. We still don’t have our compliance certificate and get angry at the poor quality workmanship and the money we still payout to others to fix things that were not done right. I would not recommend Ken for anything above a small handyman job.
I’m finally speaking out, as I’m still angry and want to try and prevent others for making our mistake and having to live in fear of what else might go wrong.
