La Macelleria Gelateria

Seriously love this gelato! Pistachio, salted caramel, coffee/almond and dark chocolate are my favourites!

Hands down best gelato in Brisbane. My favourite picks are the salted caramel and double chocolate - they honestly leave you on cloud nine. As they say, dessert doesn't go to the stomach, it goes straight to the heart!

La Macelleria is authentic and reminds me of eating gelato in Italy. The staff are brilliant and have great recommendations regarding trying new flavours. My favourite is a waffle cone with the Bo and Bo in the bottom - runny melted chocolate to finish off your cone with. Bring wet wipes though - you are definitely going to get messy.

Delicious authentic Italian gelato with interesting flavour. My personal favourites is the salted caramel, pistachio and dark chocolate. Prices start at $4.5 for a small (2 flavours) which is very reasonable for the size and location in Teneriffe.

I personally think the gelato is better here than Messina (other than the Game Of Cones special they did!). Really lovely place to go after dinner in New Farm or Tenneriffe. Sit down vibe is quite good but the river is so close its difficult not to wander across on a clear night. Full selection on sorbet to keep the healthy hubby happy and chocolaty goodness for the rest of us!
