My husband and I were told by a local from our B&B to come here. We did a few times for coffee and were lucky to get a good staff the first time.
BUT the last two times we had horrible experiences. Firstly this person who works there who seems to be a manager is just plain rude. We ignored it. Then we went back with friends and family for a lunch and one of them found a huge bug in her salad. One with many legs. And my brother inlaw find a hair in his chicken. They ended up sharing scones with me for food.
At the end they went to pay and told the same rude person from our previous experience about the bug and spider and he just said ' ok I'll let the kitchen know. That will be $53"
No apology, didn't at least offer a discount or a meal free considering both were left untouched.
