Lake Illawarra Bed and Breakfast is nestled between the ocean and the mountains, Lake Illawarra is an idyllic paradise, suitable for many activities. Prawning and fishing are very popular with locals. Our immaculate bed and breakfast offers three queen size rooms and one twin room, each with private facilities. The gardens are set out for guest’s pleasure and relaxation, with barbecues and covered areas by the swimming pool. Just a short walk to the lake, shops, surf beach, tennis court, shops, golf course, club and restaurants in the area.
My partner and I stayed here and we have agreed that we will definitely be back again.
The actual location is perfect. It is a few minutes stroll from the picturesque water. It is just off the main road so is very easy to find. But you DON'T here any traffic noise-making it the perfect location.
The rooms are very comfortable and homey. We felt very at home and settled in. The rooms and bathroom were spotless.
The chef Bob is a brilliant. When you come down for breakfast in the morning he welcomes you with a big smile. He makes you a delicious and very good sized breakfast. Breakfast started with fresh fruit salad and ended in a delicious Aussie breakfast or omelette (although there are many other options of what you can have).
We will be back and will recommend it to all our friends. Definitely worth visiting. The best and most welcoming staff you will ever find anywhere.
There's a lot to like here. The price is reasonable, the owners are friendly and helpful, and the price includes free wifi and breakfast. Breakfast is in a category of its own. Host Bob cooks up your choice of any or all of bacon, sausages, pancakes, omelette, eggs, You can also have cereal, toast, fresh fruit, fruit salad. And he makes fresh vegetable and fruit juices and smoothies. I've probably even left something out. For a B&B the breakfast is quite extraordinary. Rooms are very comfortable and have all mod cons. Probably a little cluttered with knick knacks for my liking, but certainly somewhere I would stay again if I was in the area.
