Lake Redbrook, most unfriendly park we have ever stayed. We searched the internet for a dog friendly place and before we booked a site with this park we rang to make sure that DOGS were welcome and was assured that they were. We paid our camp fees and a $50 deposit (without any complaints), first off they told us we could not park in the camp area but had to park in the field outside, (still we did not complain, all good here), we drove to the designated spot ready to set up, But as soon as we opened the door so we could begin to set up they had a go at us because of the dogs. Firstly we paid $50 deposit to have the dogs with us, secondly we have always made sure are dogs are well behavior, they did not wonder past our camp site and did not bark once the whole time we were there. We appreciate your review Lorraine. Whilst we are dog friendly, we do have strict rules in place to ensure the comfort and safety of all of our guests, unfortunately when the rules are not followed and the dogs are causing concern for other guests we have to take action. We have donated your bond to the RSPCA, you should receive a receipt in the coming weeks.
