THE WORST FISH & CHIPS EVER!!!
The so called "grilled" fish was coated in a thick battery/dough substance with minor resemblance of a fish between the layers dough. It was disgusting, it went straight to the bin.
And to top it off my dim sim came in a soy sauce drowned plastic bag.
ABSOLUTELY SHAME to whoever owns this business!!!
Needs to be shut down.
These Fish and Chips were average at best. Flake was paper thin and dry, potato cakes we overcooked and like bricks. Scallops were overcooked and dry. The only thing we can give credit for were the chips which were very good. Unfortunately, the first and last time we will visit this Fish and Chip shop.
These folks have perfected the art of satisfying crispiness. You may not think it from their low prices, and unremarkable, standard fish-and-chip-shop facade, but once you've tasted their potato cakes and experienced - one does not simply taste - their evenly-salted, soft-centred-yet-snappable chips, you will dream about them for weeks. You will think nothing of queuing if necessary, and will appreciate the businesslike staff, who don't waste time simpering. Having experienced the perfect chip, you will finally have grounds to condemn all those other chips out there as wilted, watery, wizened, or worst of all... inconsistent. The caramel-coloured, lacy-edged skin of their potato cakes may gatecrash your usual cravings. Your gratitude for this shop's mastery may even tempt you to try their interesting array of exotic souvlakies, which season the air and make waiting more a privilege than a chore.
