Lalla Rookh

While always busy, I still feel that this is a little secret in Perth. Hidden below St Georges Tce in the middle of the CBD, Lalla Rookh is deceptive from the outside. You wonder whether its just a bar or even if its open at all, but do venture downstairs to check it out.
The bar is corporate as you would expect. Drinks and service are fine, not amazing but you don't need amazing for an afterwork drinks.
Its the restaurant that makes this place a must visit. The vibe is positive, comfortable and while there is a little buzz from the other tables, you can still get lost in your own conversation, which is perfect.
