There was this little block of empty land on Hindley Street next to the Red Bar on Hindley Street that for ages I was wondering what they could put there. I actually remember it was up for sale and it was probably the cheapest bit of land in the city. Upon returning to Adelaide for a holiday I has now discovered what they have done with the place and that is turned it into the type of hole-in-the-wall bar that you would expect to find in Melbourne. However it is much better than that because it is entirely an outdoor bar with about five different platforms that you can access by a maze of stairs. Okay, it is not the cheapest place to have a drink, but the atmosphere, and the different styles of each of the decks makes it a great places to sit down and have a drink. It certainly is a place I would like to visit again.
