Enjoy peace and tranquility at Lanis on the Beach - Old BarLanis on the Beach is a quiet family friendly park, located near Old Bar Beach. Next door to a public playground and swimming pool, and within walking distance to award winning bowling club, restaurants, shops, including Bilo, bakery, chemist, bottle shop, newsagents and tennis & squash courts - only 3.5 hours north of Sydney.Lanis is only 15 minutes from the major centre of Taree, and a short drive to the picturesque hinterland. Being only ten minutes from the highway, travellers can have a quiet overnight stay in an en-suite cabin.Ideally suited to caravan and motorhome clubs as the park is of a wide-open design with plenty of sites available for large groups to congregate together in our camp kitchen.The park is uniquely situated adjacent to the historic Old Bar airstrip. There is the facility to tow small planes into the Caravan Park. Pilots can camp under the wing of their plane or stay in one of the delightful en suite cabins.

My family and i stayed at lanis on the beach and we visited off peak and we stayed for a week we also took our slightly disabled relative. The people at reception were very helpful and caring and offered any aid to make our stay happy. We noticed the rules were very strict which was a bonus for us because we have had problems staying at other parks where the rules are not taken seriously the rules are set out so that all visitors will enjoy their stay. there are strict rules which keep rowdy groups out and keeps the atmosphere to a plesant and very enjoyable stay it was a very clean park We highly recommend it to any one.
