The prices here were a bit on the pricey side but given how little competition they have, what do you expect. Food was tasty. Coffee was ok. Fine local books to buy or read while having coffee. A greater range of tourist stuff than in any other area in the region. Seriously. Including 50s like era post cards. Comfy spaces to sit inside or even out, but if you wish to relax then it is worth a stop
This is one of those road side stops out in the middle of the country which pretty much offers everything, with the exception of alcohol. The first time I came here it was quite early, so I stopped off here for breakfast and ended up having some fabulous pancakes. In fact they were so great that I made decision to stop off here again for another bite to eat, though this time I got a moroccan pie to go. What really stood out about this place, other that the lovely scenic view, was the garden around the side where they had native birds fluttering around the bird box, as well as some other animals roaming around. If you are ever down this way I would recommended stopping off here, especially since it is in one of those lovely pastoral settings you find scattered across Australia.
