As I was travelling from Brisbane to Melbourne my clutch went as I was driving the Byron to Ballina road just as I was passing by Lennox Head. My car went into second gear and would not budge. I was able to get into Lennox Head and by chance my car came to a halt right in front of Lennox Head Motors. A good mechanic is hard to find and I am always nervous as I have had some dodgy and overpriced work done on my cars over the years. I checked the reviews on this business and read the last negative review about someone who’s car didn’t pass a roadworthy (if your car doesn’t pass roadworthy it’s not the mechanics fault it’s yours... just saying) however I was still concerned. Been taking my car here for almost 5 years. I believe in recent times the business has changed hands. Last pink slip was passed with two illegal tyres. Most recently had a number of exchanges with operator about a part for my vehicle. I can’t remember the last time someone was so rude to me repeatedly. He kept saying he was busy. That doesn’t mean you can’t be kind. Kindness costs you nothing. I’ll be going somewhere else from now on.
