Lexie's on the Beach

Love this place! Great atmosphere and now they have a bar!! Bucket of Coronas with the ocean backdrop... will be back again... and again...

Went to Lexie's for lunch on Monday with friends, the food was delicious, staff were friendly & view was fabulous. Will definitely be back.

What a great experience. The sun is as warm as the staff. Great food and coffee. I'll be back soon and will be telling my friends to join me.

Since the new owners have taken over, Lexie's has become one of my favorite places. Great food, lovely people and an amazing location. I often catch the ferry over for catch up with the girls and a walk along the beach. Truly one of Newcastle's best hidden gems!

Probably one of the worst cafe experiences I've had. Waited 30mins for a coffee that never came. After being ignored several times by the staff making the coffee's I asked the staff what was happening and the reply was 'I already made it and it's been sent out to a table'. I didn't have a table number as I ordered take away so didn't understand that. Our breakfast came and we had eaten that while the rest of our group slowly started to leave after getting their coffee's and the staff making the coffee's didn't care at all because 'they did make it'. Too bad it was for the wrong person. I witnessed other people having problems with their coffee orders aswell. You know something is wrong when bacon and eggs are coming out before coffee. The staff at the register was nice and gave me a refund (although it was less then what I originally paid) which is why I am giving half a star, Also the food was nice.
