Dodgy Wheel Builder
I had Lightfoot Engineering build a pair of Moto Guzzi hubs with new Borrani rims. He drilled the valve stem holes off centre in two brand new Borrani rims. Yeah, that's right drilled both valve holes 4.5mm off centre! Also laced up the rear hub with 12mm too much offset to the right. Used the incorrect and far too large of a base diameter spoke and then they all had side tension by bending over each other to align into rim nipple hole, extremely dangerous indeed. The bloke is an absolute incompetent wheel builder, so beware. I should have known better when I delivered my hubs to him as the bloke didn't know there is a left & right side to the front hub. Front hub outer spokes are suposed to face forwards identical to the rear wheel. One wonders how many Guzzi front hubs he has built incorrectly?
