Longreach Tourist Park

Got to the camp site and my room was locked when i went to the office to get my key i was met by a staff and was convinced that i never booked my room and demanded i pay for it a 2nd time. Dont stay at this camp!

We booked 2 caravans into this park two days before getting there. We drove in and were shown we were to be sharing one site for the two caravans, our friends had a roll out awning and need it down to get their door open, so no way was one site enough. We were also expected to share power and water in the one site. Others were packed in like sardines, and was just totally a unacceptable caravan park. We walked out and booked into the another caravan park and what a difference. Don't go to this park, is the worst we have ever been to, and we do a lot of travel. Scozzie

*Awful, Awful, Awful* Place was very run down. Never saw any members of staff and the pool was filthy, looked as though it hadn't been attended in years. Unfortunately I decided to go for a swim with my 2 young children and the water was not good!!! Avoid at all costs!
