It his place is also affectionately known as "the Diddy". It's on a busy corner but that doesn't seem to matter. Out the back is a nice area and you can eat and drink and watch or play bowls. I think I was there on a day when a large group of people were having a gathering, I wasn't keen to bowl so that's ok. The food was quite good though white buns for a burger are so last century... Sourdough or whole meal would've been nicer. The reason for the low score? I lost a set of car keys in the week that I went there, I phoned AND emailed and never got a reply...i have no idea where I lost the keys, but I just wanted to check and see if they were here. Note to management: it costs nothing to have nice manners and send an email or return a call. On that note, I won't be back in a hurry.
A great chillaxing place to hang out with friends when all you are looking for is a decent feed and a few drinks.
This is your typical bolwing club with a beautiful outdoor area to sit and socialise at during the better weather and when it turns cold, a cosy indoor area to watch the footy and kick bakc in.
Food is great with reasonably priced food with standard pub fare burgers, BLTs and nachos on the bar menu or the more substantial steaks, schnitzels and seafood on the blackboard menu. ALl are cheap but of good quality.
I, personally, catch up with mates every few weeks there and we enjoy the relaxed atmosphere where we can have a chat in peace whilst keeping an eye on the footy scores to boot.
Your perfect local.
