Lord Of The Fries
It was late and there wasn't many options left so we decided to have a quick bite here. We were surprised that every item on the menu was vegertarian! And yes that means all the chicken and nuggets and hot dog were vegeterian too. I've eaten here a number of times and never knew. It's amazing how good they got the chicken to taste. The staff were all really energetic and friendly. The was made fresh and tasted amazing. Recommended!
Tried them the on my first day at melbourne.
- tried their spicy burger...and it was great! By no means you feel you are eating a vegetarian burger. The jalapenos and the sauces are very nicely done and give a nice flavour
- alas the seating is a bit of a problem. You dont want to eat a burger while walking on standing. Wish they had better seating
Glad to see Lord of the Fries expanding. The first time i tried Lord of the Fries i wanted to see what all the fuss was about. And its the sauces that go with it that makes the fries super delicious. After being on maternity leave for 1 year, coming back on the train and stopping at Southern Cross to see a Lord of the Fries at one of the train exits. What a great location for a quick on the go snack if ever peckish. So yes i had to come back on my lunch break just to satisfy my craving. There was a bit of a wait but wasn't too long. I guess they were prepared for the lunch mad rush. What makes it hard is the choice of sauces but my favourite is the vietnamese. One serving for me is enough as you don't want too much or too little. I don't remember Lord of the Fries doing breakfast or burgers but i guess a lot has changed since the first time i tried it. I wouldn't come here for burgers as their specialty is fries.
