Went out to eat with a few friends, the atmosphere seemed nice and we were shown to our table promptly, but the food was very poor. The salad was limp, the chips were fairly ordinary and the cajun spices were bland. I am not a terribly picky eater, but I ordered the cajun chicken po boy and I couldn't eat more than a bite of it as it was so bad, soggy pickled tomatos, soggy baby spinach, and dry chicken. I will never go back there again.
Louisiana Tavern has spent all it's money on trimmings and has none left to employ chefs. Food was very poor quality. The salad was almost off. Their idea of southern food is to add some liquid smoke and cajun sprinkle. I had the cajun Barramundi and it was awful. Lucky I had a 25% off voucher but it was still not worth it. Will not return even with a voucher.

The Louisiana is the best pub i have ever been to i love it i am a memeber of the Gunn Group, The best part about that place is the live bands, the bartenders and most of the customers. It is a nice place i have been there heaps of times! I love it there the atmosphere is great, the food aswell and the drinks yummmmmy! Plus the added bonus is there is no pokies and i hate the pokies!
