Low
Low 302 is located a short distance from Oxford Street in Darlinghurst, or perhaps it's Surry Hills.
You'll be greeted by low lighting, comfy lounges and a chilled atmosphere combined with drinks, cocktails and food and a good dash of music.
It’s by the bottle or the glass at this glam newbie among soft lounges, exposed brick, low lounges and jazz and soul tunes. The lemon cheese cake martini works as dessert but the short El Pirata cocktail with orange marmalade, passionfruit and lime is a tangy tastebud-teasing winner.
Fabulouslt unexpected little jazz bar hiding away in plain sight in the heart of Crown St! Amazing. Inside, behind the curtain, it's intimate, dimly lit, perfect for a late night session (when there's often a house band playing) or a little spot of romance. Menu is short but sharp and nicely affordable. Recommended.
My girlfriends and I were recently looking to have dinner in Surry Hills without paying through the nose for it something that can be hard to do when youre ordering a few drinks on a Saturday night. We managed to get a quiet little table in the back of this buzzing bar-cum-tapas parlour, thanks to an attentive waitress and some patience on our part. We ordered four or five dishes to share and a couple of bottles of wine. The food was good nothing to write home about, but certainly not disappointing.
You can only imagine our delight after a couple of bottles of wine when the bill came in at under $50 a head.
