Lower Light Hotel

Okay, this place is a little bit of a trek to reach, though if you are heading into Adelaide from Port Augusta you will end up passing it (I have done so many times). So, wanting to visit some of the pubs that I have passed numerous times but never been in, I decided to make the trek out here. To put it simply, this is your typical country pub with the locals crowded around the bar laughing away with the bartender. What I liked about this pub though was the lovely beer garden out the back, but it wasn't just that, but also the two dogs that call this pub home. I have seen very few pubs where they have dogs and a cockatoo that can say 'hello cocky'. That little attraction sure makes the long drive worth it.
