Lucky Star Tavern Sunnybank

Shame that an otherwise ok tavern, with reasonable food and price is so deeply full of dinosaurs and sexist ideas. I posted a comment on their sexist page on Facebook and they immediately deleted it and left a really rude remark at my rating. They parade women like cuts of meat and sleazily claim it's in good fun. No, it's not, nothing fun about gross old men slobbering over women desperate to please some nonsensical notion in their head that they have to be hot to matter. You can try telling them that parading women like gross cuts of meat to be slobbered on does not sell, studies prove this now, but they don't want to know, too busy being greasy, gross sexists past their sell by date and deleting comments they don't like on their Facebook page. They need to get rid of the management and find someone who lives in the 21st century.

Best pub restaurant within a 5 km radius with their special meal deals on a Monday and Tuesday evening. We often eat there to catch up with family and friends.



The steaks are good, the ribs are good, and the fish is good, but give the fisherman's basket a wide berth - it is poorly prepared from pre-packaged frozen ingredients and well below the standard of the rest of the menu.



Loses half a star because the service can be extremely slow, and another half-star because the fisherman's basket is so poor.
