Back here again to enjoy some great food with great company. I came here for my friends birthday and loving the atmosphere, just as i remembered from last time. Again booking is required as we had a large number of people celebrating the birthday. Everyone ordering a few dishes and altogether amongst 8 people there was plenty to share. Service was great and speedy for a large table with plenty of orders. Staff were making sure things were on top and checking up on us every now and then if the food is ok. With all the chit chatting, fun and laughter we didnt realise how quickly 2 hours went by and all the food finish. Really loving the atmosphere here and i know its one of those places i will always come back to dine at.
Asian Infusion with a modern twist, i loved each dish that came out. I attended in a group where we all chose a dish to share and I was not dissapointed by one. The service was prompt and they even recommeneded a cocktail to match our meal which gave them brownie points. The highlight of the night was walking through the front entrance and having my picture in front of the red Lucy Liu sign. The front entrance to me set the tone for the whole night.
A more modernise western asian style menu. Lucy Liu Kitchen and Bar seems to be popular to a mix range of people. Their menu is unique and different, a bit upper setting to the standard asian basic menu. I was here to catch up with a friend and found the place to have a great atmosphere and great crowd. Not overly loud and the setting and spacing was good. Presentation to their dishes are nicely set out and wait time on food is not too long. Reservations is recommended. I really enjoyed the papaya salad, at any authentic thai place it is super hot but this was just perfect, easy on the tongue. Great flavours and just leaves a slight tinge in the mouth with the spices. And the fried fish is great with rice. Would definitely recommend.
One of the highlights for me was their friendly and attentiveness of their staff. This was the third time having dinner at Lucy Liu and found that their level of service has been consistent. Lucy Liu offers a delicious menu and we couldn't decide a few entrees. The waitress was very descriptive and was evident that she knew her stuff. She wasn't very pushy and did not persuade us to over order. Although their dishes is a bit on the pricey side, I enjoy their setting and eclectic multicultural Asian place to have dinner with a few friends. But word of advice, make sure you book in advance because waiting time could be around 45 mins.
