Luna Park Sydney

When I was young, this place looked huge, now I return many years later and it looks tiny. It was fun to take my son here and we really had a great time. The views are like nothing you will ever get from a theme park which is probably why the cost is so high

Perhaps the only amusement park in such close proximity to the city with beautiful views & fun, lively atmosphere. Its not a big place but does have the essentials like ferris wheel, merry go round, pirates ship & roller coaster. There are also arcade style games where you can play & win a prize which is extra to your ticket which is not cheap at $52/adult & $22/child under 110cm. Food & drinks are a rip off (but expected) with a so called large drink & chips costing more then $13. A happy place for kids but don't expect a cheap day out and be prepared for queues.

Often the nostalgic memory of childhood is often better than the reality.

Here at Luna Park, it feels like some of the rides haven't been updated or changed since my youth 30 odd years ago. Entry to do nothing is free.

Currently June 2017 prices are $52 for an adult all day. And $22 for a little kid unlimited rides all day. I feel my 4 year old boy can get full value out of the $22 but since I am the only parent with him, not really worth it for me. the only theme park in sydney!! quite small.. not many attraction. the only thing i like in here is the games. So u no need to purchase the ticket to enter the theme park, jsut purchase games or ticket for the attraction! the game is to get the doll!

I attended a two day work conference here and it's very good. Yes, it's within Luna Park, so it's different ... not your usual business conference venue, but it's very well organised, with excellent facilities, good spaces and great service. The conference venue part of the park is not far from the main entrance. Its catering and support services (including security) are totally professional and reliable, with food of nice variety and good quality. It is easy to get to by public transport and has a very nice outlook.
