Worst Primary School ever. When my daughter arrived at this school she felt as if her teachers hated her for being herself, and honestly she has every right to do so. Its because teachers will basically ignore her when she asks for help. My daughter was doing very well at her old school, her teachers loved her and had never gotten detention. Now? My daughter is very upset all the time about school, this is obviously because of how bad the teachers are. They ignore her and hate her for no good reason. Also here's something shocking, she got detention for no actual reason.
I highly recomend that you should not send your kids to this school, for your own kids' shake!
I have found the teaching staff, support staff and admin staff to be of the highest quality. They have nothing but complete commitment and professionalism to their jobs. To suggest that staff "hate children or hate a child or even punish a child for NO reason" says a little more about you than it does about the Lyndhurst staff.
My son's first 2 years at Lyndhurst were an awful time for us . Many instances of bad behaviour from 'Behaviour challenged' students forced me to remove him from the school. The buddy system for preps was a disaster and needs scrapping. Who's watching the older boys with our 5 year olds?
The worse and most dangerous situation was when he was lured by another student out of the school grounds and down to the edge of the deep lake.( adjoining the school grounds) My son was 5 yrs old and couldn't swim! I was not informed by the school, (even thought the school had knowledge of the incident) but told by another parent who witnessed it,. Not nearly good enough. School grounds were far from safe for my child, with over congestion and bad playground layout causing many school yard accidents. Know several families who have removed their children, or are in the process of removing them for the same reason.
lyndhurst primary school is a good school because the staff and teachers are friendly, there is always yard duty teachers out in the yard to make sure all children are safe. lyndhurst teachers try realy hard to make sure all kids are not behind in there grades. although i recommend lyndhurst is a good school, im not saying it is the best school in the world. at lyndhurst primary school, for the kids that are being naughty they will get a time out, a time out is like when you get to stay inside with the teacher for half of lunch, that means that they will miss half of their play time. there are alot of nice students at this school that will help other sad or hurt students. eventhough there has been many ups and downs in this school nobody has realy done anything realy dangerouse that might include the police.
