Always had a good experience until my last meal, and I won't be back. Not a busy time of a Saturday night but plenty of errors occurred. Most annoying was the way the staff handled stuffing up my order. When I queried the appearance and taste of my gnocchi alfredo I was told by the waitress, after she checked with the kitchen, "Oh yeah, that's how it's made here." It was spicy, and as I couldn't eat it, I send it back. When paying the bill I noticed the waitress had written 'gnocchi amalfi' on the bill, which was the dish directly underneath and was more expensive. I queried this development and the chef was brought out. He accused me of lying ("I'm not saying you're lying, but...") but agreed to knock a few dollars off the bill. Yes, I received some sort of compensation, but my experience has taught me to request any waitperson read back my order and to never EVER return to or recommend this restaurant.Shame, because before it changed hands, this was fast ...read more
I had dinner on a Friday night at Pasquale M and although they have a car park, it was full by 7pm. It is a family restaurant and is incredibly noisy, so I wouldn't go there for an intimate dinner. The service was ok although they didn't seem to have enough staff on for the amount of people in there. The menu is extensive, perhaps too extensive, everything from pizzas, to calzones, pastas, risottos, and other mains. Given they do wood fired pizza, I had the Bellisima pizza - with pesto, potatoes, eggplant, capsicum, fetta & rocket. It was an excellent pizza and I took my leftovers home. If it was local for me I would definitely get another pizza from here, although probably take-away instead of eat in.
I order 3 pizza's & a bottle of coke on a Saturday evening at 6:10pm, they arrived cold at 7:50pm with no coke which I had already paid for over the phone. The Hawaiin pizza was obviously sprinkle with chilli powder as it was extremely spicy and unedible. It ruined my daughters birthday party and I will never order from them again.
