We visit Melbourne for the International Coffee Expo each year - and every year we only eat at Yong Tofu! The food is fabulous and the staff are wonderful. Suzanne and Barry are polished performers - Barry can sing like a nightingale - and the prices are very reasonable. If they are available don't miss the Flaming Lemongrass Oysters. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

I was passing by the area a few days ago and felt like some Malaysian takeway, after having a brose over their menu on the front glass window popped inside and ordered a beef lamak and a traditional curry laska. The wait was almost 15 minutes as it seemed like they were just opening for lunch that day and only a few diners at that stage. The place was relatively clean, small and modern. Prices are ok, curry laksa was $10.80 and the nasi lemak was $12.80. The only downfall is a cash only place, disappointing to find cash only restaurant in this day and age in which technology is rapidly changing, as I often find that I don’t carry cash and having to find the nearest ATM to cater for their specific needs. Overall, both dishes were really nice and generous serving.
