I’ve been here a few times for Vietnamese, a casual place to enjoy dinner with a few friends or get take out. On this occasion, I dined solo and just ordered rice paper roles, an assortment. They were lovely and fresh. Only issue is you must use cash under $20 or you get charged an eftpos fee.
This place is one of my favourite restuarants in Sydney. I think because it is small and comfortable but with a really big personality! The food is delicious authentic vietnamese and the decor is reminiscent of a vietnamese street eatery with a Surry Hills makeover.
This restaurant is so cute that I remember always passing it and thinking "I have to try this place" and thankfully I finally did! The food here is nice with good Vietnamese flavours - though not as good as something you'd get from Cabramatta, but close enough. A great place to get together for a quiet night with a friend for some good food and great conversation.
Madame Nhu is the kind of place you wish you lived closer to.
Located on a little comer in Surry Hills, I'm never surprised to see most seats taken even when it's not lunch time rush.
