One of my auntie's use to live up here when I was a kid, so this pub was always on my radar. So, when I first moved to Melboure, and had a car, I made the effort to come up here, check it out, and also have a beer here. More recently I decided to come up here again, with my friend, so that I could post a review of the place. Well, does have a fairly country feel to the place, though it tends to be frequented by those who work in the city and live out here. While it is not a trendy inner-city pub, it does have the ambience of a middle class establishment, with a really nice outdoor beer garden. The sportsbar is separated from the main establishment, and the restaurant is out the back. However, it isn't a place, even if I had a car, that I would come and frequent all that much.
A great country hotel,delicious meals,good range of drinks,cold beer, all served by friendly and curteous staff.All of this with extremely competitive prices.After your first visit you will definitely return!!
