Burton Family Maitland Toyota first opened in December 1963 trading as Sharton Motors. It was a Golden Fleece Petrol Station, with a small car yard and service workshop with a total staff of four. Norm and Maureen Burton were the principals in the business, and are still in that role today, some 40 years later.
In 1970 Norm and Maureen purchased 250 High St Maitland, which was refurbished as a new car showroom and a service workshop facility, operating with a staff or nine.
In 1977 Sharton Motors became incorporated, and started to trade as Maitland Toyota.

I have always had a pleasant experience when browsing their vehicles and test driving their cars. Staff are very accommodating I know their stuff about the vehicles that they sell.
Coffee and toilet for Sillett he's on site as well as plenty of parking. Might mentioned I have a great service centre as well Holly recommend anyone shopping in the area or locals that need to buy a new or used vehicle.
Easy flat level access no stairs to worry about great shopping experience here.
Best Toyota dealer in Australia, and they have the awards to prove it. I can see why they were voted number 1. Their team is amazing. We have been there regularly whenever we need to upgrade the car, buy parts or get a service done. Love how involved they are with the community too. Show me another local dealer who does that much!
