This is one of the most expensive that I've ever come across. Their prescription medications are sometimes double priced compared to the prices at the cheaper chemists nearby. Of course, they never ask you if you want cheaper generic medications. I realised that after getting my repeat prescription medications in two other pharmacies after using this one initially. Once they gave me over $30 ointment without telling me about $10 generic one. After getting to know about the generic version, I went back to ask about generic one and they reluctantly showed it to me ! This made me stop using them. Sometimes, in an emergency situation, I go there because it's open until 8pm, but, almost always, it disappoints me with something (price, service etc), so I just drive a bit further to other late night chemists.
I have been going to this pharmacy for approximately seven years and we are a family of six. So, we do purchase a lot medication and other pharmaceutical products. Genuinely I have over the years found the customer service there good but I was disappointed after today. I put a couple of scripts in and after waiting a stressful 30 minutes with four young children I stood at the counter and requested from the staff if they would retrieve a bottle of multivitamins to add to my purchase. I wanted to pay for all of the items in one transaction. The staff wanted me to pay in two separate transactions even when there were no customers waiting. I felt that the staff was not helpful and insensitive to the time we had already had to wait. I had to put this in writing as when I rang up to have this addressed. I was not taken seriously in regards to how disappointed I was with the customer service I received.
