Truly awesome Malaysian food!!!!! Fabulous value for serving portions. Service is fast and friendly and flavors are the best you'll find anywhere. Food is of high quality and so fresh. Definitely recommend this venue to all for a quick catch up or for a friendly dinner.
Mamak Village in Wynyard is the smaller CBD version of the very busy and popular Mamak restaurant from Chinatown. The store serves only a subset of what you would usually see at the full restaurant, but it has all your favourite main dishes that are perfect for your lunch.
The shop is located on the lower ground floor of MetCentre, just steps away from Wynyard Station. The store is practically a take-away shop with only a number of seats and tables available for dining in.
Lately, the queue for this shop seems to have subsided, with hardly any queues as I would have expected. The food quality, however, is still comparable to the Chinatown counterpart: tasty, authentic, and comes with just-right serving size. Price wise, the dishes are also reasonable for lunch options. Now, if only they have desserts offerings, it would make it a great option for a big lunch out.
