Family vet since I took my lil pup 9 years ago, I transfer my parents dogs over from their vet. I find that Maribyrnong vet really have a passion and care for my pets. The information provided is always helpful and they really do value the life of your pets. I took up puppy school lessons for my little Pomeranian 9 years ago, 9 years later my little one is still healthy and has her annual check up with no problems. Along with 2 extra dogs to the family, my 2 little chihuahuas now being 5 years old are always treated with great care. They have all been desexed here at Maribyrnong with no issues. Every part of the surgery is explained thoroughly so that as a pet owner you understand the process and feel more comfortable. The staff are extremely nice and friendly as you can tell they are pet lovers. Occasionally they would have sample food packets to trial, eg dental or treats which I find helpful when you want to see if your pet will eat it not. At annual checkup the vet is ...read more
I recently went with my sister over the weekend that has 3 dogs she has been taking to this veterinary clinic for a number of years now. You need to make an appointment beforehand; I guess just like any clinic that its attended. Its interesting to see the reaction of all the pets that are bought to veterinary clinics, its almost they could smell the sense of a surgical room. The service was great, little wait however thats expected as some visit may take longer than normal. Their service is quite extensive from vaccinations, check-ups, X-ray, desexing surgery, orthopaedic surgery to even weight control. We were there for the standard vaccination and check-up. Lets say owning a pet isnt cheap and having pet insurance does help particular in an event in which surgery may be required. My sister mentioned they have been great over the years; hence shes been taking all 3 doggies there on an ongoing basis and would recommend to anyone who has ...read more
Being close to where we were living when we bought our first and only furry family member, Maribyrnong Vet Clinic was the logical option for his veterinary purposes. We had no experience with owning and caring for a pet before so thought our experience with MC was normal.
For the following reasons, we will not be returning to MC after consulting with a professional veterinarian clinic.
Our pet somehow broke a tooth (molar). We booked an appointment at which we were told it would need to be extracted. Our furry family member was ...read more
I took my elderly sick dog to this vet as they were opened on Sunday when she got too sick to go on, I knew I had to get my little darling put down and it was very traumatic for me as I'd had her for 17 years. The staff were fantastic and very sympathetic which made it a bit easier for me, I also received a sympathy card in the mail from them which brightened up my day ,will definitely go back again.
