Masque Day Spa

Awful. Therapist unfriendly. Greeted me with, "are you the girl with the 12.30 appointment?" Made me wait for about 10 minutes after treatment time whilst she got the room ready. Didn't introduce herself. When room was ready she didn't come and get me, just called out that I could come in. Had me fill in form which asked what I wanted from the treatment then obviously didn't read the form as she asked me the same question once I was in the room. When I said I was having a few skin break outs so it would be good to focus on those she said, "so firming and hydrating then?" I couldn't be bothered clarifying again. Despite advising when I booked that I was 7 months pregnant and saying this on the form, there was zero acknowledgement of this and whether I would be comfortable on my back for the facial (without the necessary elevation post 1st trimester). I was not going to write a review although I do not want people to spend lots of money and have an experience that me and my friend received. We both received the 4 hour spa day pack as a gift and it has a value of $400 each ($800 total). So we expected an amazing relaxing day out.

Firstly there was no parking over 2hrs my friend ran in at 8.50 to ask and they said there was parking two streets away after driving for 20 mins we finally found a spot 15 mins walk away from the spa. There was no indication that there was no parking then when we arrived the ladys then mentioned we were late and this would eat into our treatment time. I'm truly grateful to my girlfriends for purchasing a voucher for my birthday at Masque Day Spa! Boy, was I pampered. Thank you Jo and team for making me feel super special, relaxed and amazing. I was at Masque day Spa last week as a friend gave me a voucher from there for a facial. I've been to several places for facials as it's something i enjoy. As soon as i entered the Spa i was greeting by a lovely lady who took me to the waiting area that had a French feel to it and brought me a green tea. The woman who did my treatment was so lovely and she had completed a full facial examination and was able to tell me exactly what was happening with my skin which none of the other places did. She gave me the most relaxing scalp, neck, shoulder, arms and hand massage so it was much more than just a facial, i was completely relaxed. I highly recommend this Spa and i will continue to go there from now on. The Spa is inviting and the girls make you feel so welcome. Prices are also very reasonable compared to other Spas i have been to especially considering the beautiful location.
