Matheson's (Auto Electrics) Pty Ltd

I took my car to this outfit to investigate why my air con was only working intermittently. At first they did a re-gas which cost me over $200. when that didn't work they said it must be the condenser, which cost another $700 and still didn't work. two times I took the car to them (I live in another town) and left the car with them for several hours and when I returned they hadn't even looked at it. The place is dirty and there seems to be chronic lack of staff. Very disorganised. I will never go back.

We have dealt with Mathesons Auto Elect a few times, and each time we get grumbled at. My wife cops it more. The lady behind the counter is very gruff to her, and it seems like she is in trouble, even when she is going to pay the bill and give them some money. We won't use these guys again. Twice bitten, once shy. Just really bad customer service.

I have been going to Mathesons once every month for the past 2 years due to having a Guardian Alcohol Interlock on my vehicle. The staff at Mathesons have been fantastic! Mathesons provided great training and ensured that I did not drive away until I had the understanding and confidence to use it on my own. I feel confident knowing that I can trust them for honest advice. I cant recommend them enough!!!!

Can not recommend Matherson's enough!!! The boot release failed on my car with a boot full of groceries. Very stressed about my situation, I drove around straight away with only minutes til closing time and the guys worked on my car, even working overtime until they fixed it. It was certainly a great relief to me to have them act quickly and confidently!
Amazing customer service, even helping me keeping my children occupied in the waiting room with pens and paper while waiting.

I've never provided feedback on any business on the web before but after my experience with Mathesons today I can't help but try and warn others of my experience.
Disgraceful customer service. Had interlock installed 2 x months ago. Told it would be a 2 hour job but waited 6 hours because the management and office staff had taken the day off. The staff who was left to run the shop for the day didnt really have any idea what was going on or how/what paperwork staff needed to fill in. Regardless the job was done and they waved me on my way 6 hours later. They then rang and told me I hadn't filled in the right paperwork so I had to fill it all in again and waste more time.
