Don't waste your time if you're heading for their "cheap" roadworthy inspections. I was pulled up on things that could have been fixed on the day and was given astronomical quotes for basic parts. Was extremely rude (although happily took my money for the inspection and sent me packing).
Sorry you feel that way, we don't do "cheap" roadworthy inspections we carry them out within guide lines set by Queensland transport and the $69.75 price is set by them also. With the time frame you gave us with your car, i could not get repairs done the same day as some are carried out by a 3rd party who was not available on the day and that is what he charges us, a roof lining is not a basic part to replace. And when you came back to the shop to ask about things, i went to the car to show you the items in question and tried to explain things the best i could.
Aaron and Cameron, top blokes!!! Allways stick to there prices, no B******. Know there 4x4 inside and out and even willing to do drop in fixes outside normal hours. Good reputation. Have been getting my 4x4 as with many other Defence members here for a couple of years now, honestly would'nt go anywhere else.
Fair pricing, get the job done, do it professionally and tend to use quality components where possible . Have been coming back here for a while now and they are quite flexible concerning time frames, spares ect. They stick to their quotes , are courteous and approachable. An Owner operated car repair business which shows the one trait which I value even more in a mechanic than the technical skill displayed here - honesty.
Stay away. Quoted me $2300 for repairs on an interstate safety certificate transfer. There was around 6 items in question. I removed the brake pads to check myself and they were almost brand new. Only 2 of the 6 repairs were required. Took the car to another mechanic to check and he found nothing wrong with the car and passed it! Gallipoli barracks people stay away. Convenience is not worth the rip off.
