McDonalds at Wynyard Station is one of the remaining old school McDonalds remnants that are still operating in Sydney CBD. It hasn't appeared to have gone any transformation over the past decade or more, and for me it is by far the least appealing McDonalds I have ever been.
The store is very small and an equivalently limited queueing area that also doubles as walkthrough, and a limited elevated seating area with connecting stairs that are often blocked by the people waiting to order or get their orders. I was there on a hot summer day and was very surprised that the shop was even warmer than outside. The combination of open kitchen and the down-lights and perhaps a lack of cool air conditioning makes it very uncomfortable to stay there to eat in during summer days.
Also, unlike other McDonalds, the customers are not given the order numbers so they would have to call the orders by the items, which I think is a little bit counterproductive.
