McDonald's

I was at this store, level 5 Westfield Parramatta yesterday 14/20/17. There was a unkempt, maybe homeless, man in front of me who must have only had $9 on his card and $2 on him. He asked for his order to be split payment with $9 to be on card the rest in cash. The girls serving him said no problem but then put in $10.30 on card. It of course declined and the poor man quickly walked away embarrassed. I brought it to their attention and they just said oh well. Did not try and call him back. This poor man missed out on eating due to this mistake and they couldn't care less. Disgusting behavior McDonalds!

Maccas is maccas. This is the perfect pit-stop after a night of drinking but otherwise I don't think I would choose this particular one. Or I would only go through drive through because the restaurant itself is a bit grubby.

There are in fact two McDonalds stores in Westfield Parramatta, as befits the location. I have chosen today, to review the McDonalds not in the food court. This is the one that has a McCafe attached to it. As you can see from the pictures I have uploaded this McDonalds is quite a classy affair. It is modern. The McCafe has a wide selection of muffins and other treats. The staff are very friendly and deal with the relatively long lines. It is conveniently located near an entry to the Westfield and the internal escalators. If I had to sit down for my McDonalds meal in any McDonalds I would choose here.

Everybody knows what to expect with McDonalds. The good thing about this store is taht it is open 24 hours a day. This has come in handy on a number of occasions when I feel like a midnight snack and the cupboards are bare. The healthy choice menus are a step in the right direction also.
