The service and food are standard if not above average for a busy Sunday afternoon. But this review is not about the service or food, but more to the parking area which McDonalds in City Rd South Melbourne have introduced a restriction for parking.
As I've always done a drive thru in this location, today I somehow decided to park the car and go inside with my family for a quick eat in.
But when returning to the car I was completely gobsmack to discover that I had received a parking ticket and a $77 fine. Never in my life I have seen a paid parking at McDonalds store.
I should've paid attention to the parking sign I guess. First 45 min are free, but you still have to display the parking ticket you the dashboard. What a joke.

Good service and good coffee, but the food is awful. Buy your morning coffee from here, but please find the nearest bakery for good food.

They have great promotion called "Love My Usual" - Two all beef patties with special sauce. Also my favourite sandwich is Double Quarter Pounder and they claim that is made with 100% Australian beef which is great!

The coffee that they serve is very good and I really like their customer service.

have had some REALLY disappointing experiences here.

1) they don't turn on their shake machine in the morning - too bad if you want something milky for breakfast!

2) they more often than not will give you sauce in a seperate packet when you SPECIFICALLY say "SAUSE INSIDE THE MCMUFFIN, NOT SEPERATE: INSIDE"
