Melanoma Scan Mitchelton

I attended Melanoma Scan yesterday for my annual skin check. I was very impressed with the staff when I walked in and was greeted by a friendly receptionist with a lovely smile. The doctor was very professional and attended to all my concerns and explained everything to me in detail. I would strongly recommend this clinic.

I was concerned about a mole on my ear & had been asking my usual GP for expert medical support for 18 months. He had advised me to just keep coming back to review it every 6 months- which I had been doing for 18 months.
Thankfully, a friend recommended Dr Annells- due to his expert knowledge &
I am fortunate that I saw Dr Annells, as the mole was Stage 4 malignant melanoma & fatal if it had been left for much longer.
The chances of survival for 5 years after diagnosis are less than 1 in 10.
I'm now 10 years post surgery & cancer free for 10 years- thanks to Dr Annells & his excellent medical knowledge & kind & gently supportive manner.
He saved my life.

I attended the clinic to have several small moles removed on my face. All staff at the clinic were very professional. My appointment was on time and Dr Annells did an excellent job removing the moles, explaining the procedure to me and helping me manage my anxiety about the local anesthetic. I will definitely be recommending this clinic to friends and family.

I arrived for a 10.45 appointment on time and was told there was a 30-40 minute wait. At 11.30 I was told it was still 40 minutes wait. As it was a work day I had to leave without seeing a doctor. I won't be back

We definitely won't be going back! Our experience this time was even worse than usual with this practice. We waited over an hour and a half for our appointments. When we arrived we were told it would be a 45 minute wait, so we went and got some other jobs done and came back. When we got back we were told it wouldn't be long. We proceeded to sit for another hour in the waiting room. Other people were asking how long it would be and were just told it wouldn't be long. We usually have a wait time of 20-30 minutes with them and allowed for that, but as we both work for ourselves we can't afford to wait for over an hour and a half. Had we been told it would be another hour we could have gone and got other things done and come back again. There were a couple of other people who were there before we first arrived and were still waiting when we left, so it wasn't just us or our doctor. ...read more
