Remedial therapies are the most popular, fastest growing area of health care in the world today. Come and relax and enjoy a treatment from one of our friendly and highly qualified therapists. Massage can not only improve your physical health, it can also greatly benefit your mental health.
Massage sessions can be individually tailored to treat a wide range of ailments including sore and tired muscles, stress tension and headaches, backaches, neck and shoulder pain, and sport and activity related injuries. Everyone needs vary so our friendly experienced massage therapists will tailor your consultation to suit you.
There are numerous massage styles available including:
Relaxation massage: A smooth, flowing style that is light and gentle with long strokes. Therapeutic massage is one of the most effective ways to prevent and treat muscle injuries, pain and soreness. Massage helps to restore function to 'soft tissues' and is designed to treat both deep and superficial tissue.
Deep tissue massage: more intense than a relaxation massage, aiming to get to those deep set muscle aches and pains releasing stress build-up.
Remedial massage: aimed more at injury treatment and prevention, remedial massage focuses on a smaller area of the body aiming to maximise recovery.
Sports massage: Pre and post event massage can be aimed at loosening the body and increasing your range of motion to maximise your results, or it can be used to minimise your recovery time, helping the body overcome the rigors of the event.

I feel conflicted writing this. I have been swimming at City Baths for nearly 20 years but lately I feel that they are using way too much chlorine in the water.
I really like the heritage listed building and the staff are super chill.
Just can't get past the chem levels in the water!
On all occasions that I have taken my daughter here I have found the premises to be clean, staff friendly and accommodating to us. They have a suggestions box in which one of the few places in which I have found that they take their customers review seriously. I made a note regarding the baby change table that appeared to be floopy and needed some repair. A few weeks later returning, they had replaced the change table with a new one. Very impressed and a gym that is highly recommended to everyone.
