Beautiful venue conveniently located within walking distance to the CBD. Have worked at a conference here and they are good at managing the crowds. They also offer some dining facilities.

Attended a strategy day at MCEC again and had no trouble finding what I needed and where we were being hosted despite huge size of the building.
Staff are everywhere and helping direct delegates.
Catering good and room setup not cramped.

The Melbourne Convention Centre is a multipurpose venue that can be used for for functions ranging from conferences, weddings, trade fairs and exhibitions. I have come here for the Food and Wine show and am always taken aback by the beautiful industrial but modern views overlooking the river. They have multiple sized spaces which can be opened up or downsized depending on the use. Because it is privately run and operated the coffee and water from the kiosks are quite over priced. This place is easily accessible by public transport including the 96, 112 and 109 trams.

I recently attended a Variety Club event, in partnership with Freemasons Victoria, as a volunteer. Of course I have been here many times for conferences, exhibitions... The venue is very spacious and if it has any shortcomings it is the 'nick name' by which it is better known and the cost of parking
