Melbourne Hwaro Korean Barbecue

It is the best choice to have KBBQ in Melbourne. It is very popular so I have to book in for the dinner last sunday. I like the side dishes and enjoy the kimchi with chilli marinated pork belly which are quite tasty. If you have not tried korean food before, it is a best choice. But you need to cook everything in your own way but with nice and kindly staff help.

One of my favourite places to eat KBBQ in Melbourne. This place is very popular so bookings are essential especially during the weekends.
My favourite is the thinly sliced ox tongue, wagyu and chilli marinated pork belly. Servings are quite small and a bit on the pricey side.

Service here is also very friendly. I found that their process is very efficient where waiters can be called using a bell at the side of the table.

We had such a fun night at this Korean Barbecue Restaurant! First of all, you get to cook everything to your perfect specifications and with help! Nothing beats the taste of chargrilled food and the side dishes are an excellent complement to each dish. Subtle, interesting and different; if you haven't tried Korean food yet, Korean BBQ is a good place to start. Service is wonderful, gracious, polite and prompt.

Good ambience with a very lively authentic feel. The experience almost brought me back to Myeongdong in Seoul. Coal fired BBQ. Only drawback is pricing. But you don't do it everyday so definitely worth the experience. Large groups and bookings are essential. Great night out. Take it easy with the Soju (rice wine), its subtle easy going flavour is deceiving! It'll knock you out before you finish your meal (looks down).
