Restaurant Owner and Executive Chef, Kim Xi Tran, has attained 29 years experience and eminence in the global hospitality industry. Born and bred in Vietnam, Kim Xi Tran, is a master of Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine. The Chef evinces an inherent perspicacity of authentic asian flavours. He insists on preparing only the freshest quality produce for customers. The Executive Chef invests his heart and soul into personally cooking all Vietnamese and Chinese dishes made-to-order. Lovely family restaurant! Tonight, we celebrated my daughter's birthday at Melin with family and friends. For our group of 9 people, we were seated at a big round table with a 'lazy susan', and was also provided with a baby chair. The service was excellent! The restaurant allows BYO alcohol, so we brought an assortment of wine and beer. In addition, we brought a large birthday cake. We ordered a Vietnamese banquet with 9 courses, each of which was fresh and delicious. We started with the Transparent Prawn and Pork Rolls and tasty Chicken Satay Sticks, as well as Wonton Soup. For main course, we had Chicken Lemon Grass and Chilli, Grilled Pork Chops with Crushed Peanuts, King Prawn Hot Pot, Beef with Ginger Sauce and Peanuts, as well as Fried Rice.
