Meningie's Waterfront Motel has 11 ensuite rooms accommodating up to four people. Some rooms have waterfront views from which you can enjoy the abundant bird life and the breathtaking sunsets over the lake. All rooms have ensuite bathroom, television, DVD, free dvd hire, tea/coffee facilities, toaster, most have R/C A/C, ceiling fan, clock radio, electric blankets and iron.Free wireless Internet access in the reception area. The Bistro is open for dinner from 6pm to 8pm Mon-Thurs. Breakfast is available in the Bistro from 7.30am to 9am 7 days. Meningie is a pretty holiday destination one and a half hours drive south east of Adelaide on the shores of Lake Albert and at the northern end of the beautiful and unique Coorong. Coorong National Park has many trails for bushwalking, bird watching and sightseeing.

Heard that the water is back in Lake Albert after many years of drought. My partner and I went to check out the lake and stayed at the Waterfront Motel. Absolutely breathtaking views and sunsets, and we enjoyed the friendliness of the pelicans and the locals alike:)
Booked a waterfront room with ensuite, listening to the waves lapping at the beach just outside the window. It was such a relaxing atmosphere. We had a great sleep because the motel is set back from the road. ...read more
