Very unprofessional company. Rude receptionists. Two times an inspection was to occur, and then 5 - 7 days later was told we had to drop off another master key to them. Property manager lied in emails and only admitted it when shown. Told us to fill out a bond return form and sign it without the agreed money amount, which I found out is illegal according to the Tenants Union. Didn't get back to us regarding dangerous repairs. Property manager wrote rude, unprofessional and aggressive emails. Used the more expensive recommended steam cleaner and was told it wasn't good enough.
If possible, avoid them. It's not worth the headache and possible VCAT battles.
This is a shocking company. The management change very regularly, and when they do, there's no continuity. So, you leave messages for a person who doesn't return your calls, only to discover that they've left the company months ago! Same with emails- they don't even bounce back! They just go through, without you knowing that the person never got them! Therefore, everything in your life is turned upside down, and THEN, when you discover that you have a different account manager, that one has NO ACCESS to any prior communication with the previous one - or one(s). Miles Real Estate played a part in ruining my business, and I don't believe that any of their staff care about anyone.
Very poor customer service. It took a month to do emergency repairs on more than one occasion. Phone calls and emails rarely returned.
They think they rule the country ,,,, please real estate agents are in with car salesman right
Would not recommend anyone to Miles Real Estate (Ivanhoe.) Customer service is absolutely shocking. I had to wait nearly a month before any action was taken on maintenance repairs, one of which was an urgent repair.(where i then had to persue the matter through consumer affairs vic). My property manager must take 8 holidays a year as whenever i call, i am told she is on holidays. If your call is an emergency, don't even bother ringing the main number, the receptionist will not offer any help whatsoever and only tell you to call back later. Is there anyone out there with a bad experience with this company? Please come forward. As i'm in shock at how businesses can get away with it...
